Our Training Courses
- General fire safety awareness — the basics every member of staff needs: how fires start, how they spread, and how to prevent them
- Fire extinguisher training — hands-on practice identifying extinguisher types and using them safely and correctly
- Fire marshal / fire warden training — the extra responsibilities of a nominated marshal, including sweeps, headcounts and liaising with the fire service
- What to do in an emergency — recognising an alarm, raising the alert, and the immediate actions to take
- Evacuation training — practical, building-specific guidance on escape routes, assembly points and assisting others
Why It Matters
Under the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006, staff must be given adequate fire safety training — but beyond compliance, an untrained team is far more likely to freeze, delay, or make the wrong call in the first critical minutes of an emergency. Confident, practised staff are what actually get everyone out safely.
